I really want step-by-step instructions on how to use "the secret", just to improve my everyday life.
First, the law of attraction requires no belief – it’s always working; it involves no wishing; and there’s certainly no magic involved.
obviously, the nutshell is …
Well, let’s not go there.
The basic "step by step" is:
Want your desire.
Accept your desire.
Receive your desire.
Now, that’s REALLY basic. And it’s also about all you’re going to get out of the Secret – which is a good primer, but not the be-all, end-all of the law of attraction. In fact, if you investigate a little about the people who appear in that DVD, you’ll find that virtually all of them cite that there’s a book out there that changed every single one of their lives:
Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.
This book is available all over the internet as an ebook, and it’s usually free. You should read that. It’ll change your life.
To expand a bit on the basic steps:
1. You need to have a specific desire. It can’t be something nebulous like "improve my everyday life." WHAT would improve your everyday life? More green lights? A different boss? A better teacher? find a SPECIFIC thing that will improve your life, and concentrate on wanting that.
2. When the opportunity presents itself, follow it; I know that’s kind of vague (and here I am talking about not being nebulous…), but it depends on what you specifically want. if you want a better boss, "the opportunity" might be an opening in a different department or a job change. More green lights might mean a minor route change, or following a car that’s going "just the right speed" to hit all the lights green instead of passing it.
3. Emotions are a good thing; think about how what you want makes you feel. If you feel good, happy, elated, etc., then that’s a good thing. Incorporate you emotions into what you want.
4. The LoA, like the lottery, requires participation. You can’t win if you don’t play. you’ve got to be part of the equation. You can’t sit back and just expect things to happen.
That should get you started. Good luck!
