I just read the book the secret but I cant seem to do one of the things that it says to do which is always think positive. I cant seem to change my thoughts i try and try but my mind seem to wonder and think f*ck this f*ck that everything is so hard its just how i was brought up. im only 15 btw and i just quit smoking marijuana (dont judge me please) because im sure it ruins the whole thing but how do i change my mind set to start thinking positive.

I understand that the hardest way is to think positive all the time. I would like to share a little explanation on this. The law of attraction is very popular for a superior cause. It’s a way for people to handle their lives, get things done, and get what they want. Essentially, the law of attraction says: "like attracts like". And one indispensable action that we need to do is to think positive, because if you think positive all the time, you’ll attract positive too, but as you mentioned, it’s hard to always think positive or be positive all the time, due to some reason, depression, stress, and our environment itself. I started law of attraction the same way as you are starting right now. I have a hard time of thinking positive things all the time, like when I start thinking positive and I see one little error and mistake and see that things are not going my way, I stumble and it leads to feeling down and negative again. So what I did was find a way, search on the net for more tips on how can I successfully start, I come across this link, I’ll share it to you later, they do provide free videos, you may want to try. And the very basic is to SMILE, smile?! Yup, try to start your day with a smile, face the mirror and practice your sweetest smile, then smile to the very first person you face. When they smile back to you, you’ll know the feeling why smile can help. If you feel happy inside and out, it would be easier to think positive, think of the happy old times, and think of your crush, your desired new shoes, think of happy thoughts. That will make you smile =) Mines strategy, I listen to reggae every morning, it makes me energized and happy, it makes me hum while walking and it’s easier to share a smile. When people smile back at me, I feel light and thus, it’s makes easier for me to become positive.

the good thoughts it will make you come true and the bad thoughts it will make you come true.. because if we focus in negative ideas.. we are going to get bad results is that something the science can prove in our brain and our life?

i think that this is more of peoples opinions than science. I think its just the way people think of this and from their knowledge or experience

What I need to know about the law of attraction, Is it dangerous, How can I practice it?

According to the Law of Attraction, you manifest what you focus on whether it’s good or bad. The Universe is always "listening" and will give you what you’re "asking" for. For example, if you are fearful that you’re going to trip in front of people and continue to think about it, the Universe will move people, circumstances, situations to make you trip. If you want nothing more than to live in a large house in Brazil then the Universe- even if you have no money- will move people, circumstances, and situations so that you actually end up in a large house in Brazil. It works every time. You can only attract things to yourself. You cannot attract things for other people. This knowledge offers us a great opportunity to change our attitudes. Certainly, it’s better to focus on positive things and so we who practice the Law must discipline ourselves to think of good things most of the time. There is more than enough for us in the Universe. We will never run out. If there isn’t enough money for all of us to have a billion dollars, the Universe will simply create more money IF that’s what we’re collectively focusing on. This Law is only one law. There are more Laws. I do believe in God and that no matter what, He is in charge. I also believe that He allows us "free will" and that "will" is the power to WILL things into existence by focusing on them. You practice the law of attraction by using three simple steps: 1. Ask. 2. Believe 3. Receive.

When you are thinking about something, you are asking. If you want something, you tend to think about it over and over. This is good because it makes the thought more powerful and more likely to manifest. This is also why you must discipline yourself to focus on what you want instead of what you don’t want. If you really don’t want cancer and think about that over and over again, you’re likely to get it so focus on health instead.

Belief is very powerful as you probably know. You must believe that it’s possible and likely for you to get what you want. Once you start attracting stuff, your belief will be stronger because you have evidence that it works. If you want a million dollars but have no idea how you’ll get it, don’t worry. "How" is the business of the Universe. It’s not really our business. We’re to focus on what we want, believe we will have it, and with that belief, take steps towards it.

Receive what you want in advance; meaning be thankful for it and "feel" it. Feel yourself in your new house. Feel the way you’ll feel once you have a good income. Feel how grateful you’re going to feel once it comes, but do it now. Feelings are a continuation of belief, of course. Like attracts like, so if you "feel" like a wealthy person, wealth is more likely to come your way. Feelings also help you gage how much and what you’re attracting. When you feel bad you’re not likely to attract good things. You must actually try to feel good. Again, discipline is needed. I urge you to read "The Secret," by Rhonda Byrne. It’s an easy read but has changed my life. I felt the law of attraction before I knew what it was, but to actually know what it is and how to use it has been amazing. If you want to practice, start small and attract a rose or something. Blessings.

Also yeah do you think marijuana helps it or stops it because there are some pretty successful potheads out there lol

Take one step at a time. If the negative thoughts appears, just ignore it. What you want to focus consciously? That is the choice you have. Choose to entertain positive thoughts.

I understand the law of attraction and how it works, but I seem to always run into the same struggles when I try and utilize it. I feel like I’m exhausting myself always trying to control my thoughts and constantly thinking about my thoughts. Is visualization something I’m supposed to be doing non stop though out the day? Because it’s exhausted visualizing how I want my life to be while also trying to be grateful for what I have. For example, today I was driving and couldn’t decide if I should visualize the car of my dreams or be grateful for the car I already have. And I was playing guitar and coulden”t decide on being grateful for being able to play or if I should visualize myself playing in front of people. Now that I know I have control over my mind, I’m ironically losing control because I can’t decide on what to think about. I just don’t understand how I can visualize things while also being in the present moment and being grateful for what I already have. Sorry for the length of this post but I really need help with this!

I have OCD and I feel the same way, only a little different. I over analyze my thoughts so much and I obsess over them, even though I don’t want to. I have intrusive thoughts all the time! Read this link:

    First of all, congratulations about taking the decision to try and be positive.

    There’s a book I read when I started dieting, called Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle. Although the nutrition plans didn’t interest me at all, cause I already know what to eat, I read the whole psychological part. To make a long story short, the book said that you need to talk to yourself out loud whenever the occasion is good. For example, in the case of the dieting, we would say " Damn, I look good " when we saw our reflection the mirror. It really works. So in your case, you should be like " I’m good and I’m proud of myself. " Also, when I started thinking positive, I started making more friends. I used to be a reject but I guess I’m pretty good now. Positive thinking will really draw people to you.
